What are the advantages to the way you believe now?
How does your belief system make the world seem to you. I can think of atleast seven advantages to being a Christian as against say being an Atheist. Maybe there are some disadvantages, but I haven't found them. What are your views.

Do you doubt God's love for you?
You doubt God's love because it is conditional. But God's love for you has been proved. If you have ever suffered the pain of rejection, of disappointment, of loss, you will know that these are terrible things. You and I rejected God~ we said to the one who brought us into being from dust 'stay out of my life God!'. God knows rejection, disappointment and loss; he has experienced pain. But God sent his son Jesus into the world, to represent God and us reconciled together. We had rejected Him, but he responded with love through coming to us in our human situation. On the cross, the second person of the trinity suffered the most appalling rejection: from enemies, from friends and finally from God the Father. God put aside his own pain and experienced your pain and mine, to make a bridge for you and me to cross over to come to Him.

Is repentence just saying sorry to God?
I think that it is stepping into the light. It is seeing how dark we have allowed our lives to become. We cannot do this by staying away from Jesus. _________________________________________________ Just saying Sorry is not enough, not even saying 'I repent'is enough. Repentence means to turn around and go in the opposite direction. We need to come to him and to allow him to reveal how far we have stepped away from him. ________________________________________________ So is it enough just to say sorry? No, first we need to ask God to help us to turn our life around by his grace. Then we need to act out our repentence. To begin behaving differently. _________________________________________________ This is a matter of choice. It is no good asking God for help if we have no intention of turning our own life around.

Is a Christian a Sinner?
If we sin does that make us a sinner. I believe that although a Christian can quite easily sin, he/she is not forced or obliged to sin. I believe that Christ has made us who are born- again, free; given us free will. If we sin its a choice. Ah but what about what Paul says in Romans 7? Are we slaves to the laws of sin? No - Paul was not sliding back into sin in spite of all his attempts to be good. Au contraire, he was telling us how glad he was that Jesus Christ had taken away the sinning-by-nature, that exists before we have been born again. He and we have been rescued from habitual sin, through the new birth. We are a chosen people and a royal priesthood and a holy nation. We are being transformed from one degree of glory to another, so long as we put on Christ and continue to put on Christ every day. So long as we make every effort to add more virtue to those we already have. Is it possible to slip back? Of course it is? But we do not have the excuse to hide behind that we are still sinners Tony
